We are passionate about Chile and we want our guests to have the most amazing time during their stay. Our professional and experienced guides will take you to see the most beautiful scenery, try delicious traditional food and drink, and learn about Chile’s history and culture. We visit the best sites at your own pace. Our tours are designed so that our guests have the ultimate tour experience and dream vacation in Chile.
We currently offer two horseback riding experiences:
(1) ANDES MOUNTAINS HORSEBACK RIDING + CONCHA Y TORO VINEYARD
Join us for fun horseback riding in Chile’s Maipo Canyon with spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and then an amazing wine tour and tasting at the famous Concha y Toro Vineyard in the village of Pirque.
After a two-hour drive from Chile’s capital of Santiago, into the Andes Mountains, we will arrive at a ranch in a small town on the banks of the Maipo River. The ranch has more than 25 years of experience in ecotourism in Chile with 8,000 acres of mountain ranges, valleys, springs, and waterfalls.
You will be guided by “arrieros” (local cowboys) as you take in the stunning vistas and admire the abundant flora and fauna from horseback. You will scale narrow mountain trails and have a short break on a plateau while enjoying the gorgeous surroundings. You may even see some amazing Chilean condors flying high in the sky. The riding time is approximately 2 hours. There is no experience needed for this horseback riding adventure. We use small but robust Chilean “criollo” horses that make everyone feel comfortable.
After horseback riding, you will have time for lunch (not included) followed by a visit to the Concha y Toro Wine Vineyard in the picturesque town of Pirque for a tour and wine tasting.
Internationally-renowned Concha y Toro Vineyard dates back to 1883. The founder was Don Melchor Concha y Toro who brought the first vines from the Bordeaux region in France to Chile that grew prosperously in the Maipo River basin. Walk around the gardens of the summer residence of the Concha y Toro family, discover the variety garden, visit their cellars, and taste a selection of three of their fine wines.
(2) PACIFIC HORSEBACK RIDE ON BEACH AND SAND DUNES, including Viña del Mar City Tour
Experience an amazing 3-hour horseback ride on the beach and sand dunes with stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Andes and then visit Chile’s Garden City of Viña del Mar!
This is a fun day trip on the Pacific Coast that goes beyond sightseeing!
We will venture to the town of Mantagua for a 3-hour horseback ride along the beach and nearby Ritoque Sand Dunes, crossing little streams from the Aconcagua River which empty here into the Pacific Ocean after flowing all the way from Mount Aconcagua in the Andes, the highest peak in the Western Hemisphere.
After the horseback ride, we drive along the coast to Concón, known for its seaside restaurants and surf shops. We pass by the impressive Concón Sand Dunes where we will have panoramic views of Valparaiso Harbor.
The tour continues through the popular beach town of Reñaca where on most days we will spot sea lions lying on the coastal rocks. We then drive to Viña del Mar, Chile’s “Garden City,” where you will see the city’s landmarks, including the Flower Clock and Casino, a “Moai” statue from Easter Island, as well as the city’s pristine beaches.
